Job Description

We are looking for a courteous, friendly, and outgoing person to join our team as an Office Assistant at our office near Long Sault. The office assistant is a key part of our customer service strategy as they help ensure the smoothness of our daily operations.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and distributing phone calls and mail to appropriate departments, document filing and shredding, sorting mail, and performing data entry
  • Prepare shipping documentation and arranging shipments with couriers
  • Receive customer orders and distribute items to appropriate individuals/departments
  • Create and update client records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Other duties, as required

Qualifications

  • College diploma in Business Administration
  • 1-3 years' experience in office administration would be an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize important tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel. Sage 50, Access, and Adobe Photoshop is an asset
