The opportunity The Regional Coordinator is responsible for providing administration and analytical support to ensure the successful completion of the project. You will use your strong organization and planning skills to coordinate the implementation of the project plans and maintain correspondence with internal and external partners. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining databases for the storage and retrieval of contacts, information, and records. The Coordinator also oversees and analyzes the project budgets and day-to-day financial activities. The northeastern Regional Coordinator is responsible for facilitating OCWI engagement in the northeastern Ontario region. The location in which the role is based is flexible (e.g., Sudbury, Nippisssing). Qualifications To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications: Completion of a post-secondary degree program in project management, business management or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of project coordination experience in a similar role. Bilingualism in English and French is required. Experience organizing events involving external partners. Experience with database applications. Experience in word processing, report preparation, scheduling and event coordination. Organizational and administrative skills. Accounting and bookkeeping skills. Research and analytical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of project management applications (e.g. MS SharePoint), MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) as well as administrative, problem solving, oral and written communication, and time management skills Notes: Candidates may be asked to demonstrate qualifications through an occupational test.
